She has appeared as guest clinician at Illinois University Chicago U.S.A, in the U.K.’ s with the National Youth Orchestra, at Leeds College of Music Saxophone Summer School, Woldingham International Saxophone Summer School and courses for the Benslow Music Trust.

Sarah Field is a lecturer at the Royal College of Music where she is currently teaching and designing the Professional Skills ‘Art of teaching’ programme for the wind & brass students. She has students who are at Cambridge and Oxford Universities on both Trumpet & Saxophone. She is also a regular visitor to the College Junior department teaching trumpet, classical saxophone and jazz as well as performance classes at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and Trinity College of Music Junior departments. Sarah’s other teaching work takes place in the very heart of the city of London at The City of London Boys School where the music department currently has three boys who are members of the National Youth Orchestra - an almost unparalleled success.
